To Merge 1099 or Transfer Amounts Between Entities

 

  1. Create a G/L named: Merge 1099 - As a liability
  2. Create a JE like the below image
    1. Credit Merge 1099 lowers an Agents 1099
    2. Debit Merge 1099 adds to an Agents 1099
    3. Accounts Payable – set to 0.00 makes the JE and note show in vendor profile
  3. Add Merge 1099 to the Box 1 Setup
  4. You may also want to set the division if multi office
